One of the latest projects they are undertaking is inviting family, friends and colleagues to wear their sneakers all day on Tuesday, April 6 as a way to promote the importance of being physically active. From left are Truro Mayor Bill Mills, Village of Bible Hill Commissioner Donna Van Kroonenburg, and Municipality of Colchester Mayor Bob Taylor. Sneaker Day is the kick off for the group's Step into Spring 10,000 steps program, which is a way to boost physical activity and motivate people to get moving this spring.
