Construction notice: Brookside Road and area

Pedestrians and motorists are advised that sidewalk renewal will be taking place in early August on Brookside Rd, from Vimy Rd to Poplar Dr, and connecting streets, including Kimberley Dr, Hickman Dr, Poplar Dr, Hallet Dr, Vance Dr, and Thompson Dr.

Sidewalk renewal work on Vimy Rd, from Brookside Rd to Windale Dr, will follow.

Good to know:
- Traffic control will be in place
- Use of alternative routes is advised where possible
- Please avoid the area while under construction until completed
- Driveway access will be impacted at times as removal and install of materials is underway

Summer 2025 Senior Fitness Class Schedule

Atttention Senior Fitness goers: The summer Senior Fitness class schedule begins on Thursday! Classes will run on Monday and Thursday from July 3 to August 28.

If you have never been to a class before - this is the perfect time to start! Lisa Bayer instructs the classes at the H. Douglas Boyce Village Hall, located at 69 Pictou Road and the drop-in fee to attend is $3 per class.

Toddler Time

Village of Bible Hill will be offering Toddler Time this summer - a drop-in playgroup for toddlers (aged 0-3)!

It will take place at the H. Douglas Boyce Village Hall (69 Pictou Road) on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, starting July 8th until August 19th.

Girls at Bat - Summer 20205

The Village will be offering another Girls at Bat program, starting in July!

Here's what you need to know about the program:
- Registration fee is $20
- It is aimed for those 6 years and up, who identify as a girl, who want to try or be apart of a fun and inclusive baseball experience!
- No experience required. Your child does not need to know how to play baseball.
- No equipment? No problem! Jays Care Foundation has provided us with gloves for everyone during the program
- Cleats are not mandatory

The program will run every Wednesday beginning July 2, 2025 for 5 weeks, ending July 30, 2025.

The program will be held on Field 2 at the Bible Hill Recreation Park.

- Ages 6-9 will play from 5:30 to 6:30 PM
- Age 10-14 will play from 6:45 to 7:45 PM
